 In 1901 it was Ormond street. I checked to see if Ormond Road was there in 1901and it came up with nothing for Ormond Road. So it might have changed from Ormond Street to Ormond road. Its not far from the M5

Thanx for that info Ricky But I fear that its too far from the centre of Birmingham to be the right one. I'm looking for a Cornwall buildings, there is one called that on Newhall street today but these buildings were on Ormond street in 1865. Newhall street has been there since the early 1800 s Jan

Ormond St. was there in 1880 but just fields in 1840,so in 1860 it must have been a recent development.There are no identifiable buildings except for St.Stephens church which is on the opposite side of the road in Newtown Row,at the other end of the street is Summer Lane it then becomes Farm St. and runs towards Soho park.Hope this helps.Jim
