I am trying to find information about my Grand Father, His Brother
My Grand Father, Harold Vincent Brown, emigrated from england to Australia about 1910-1912.
I think travelled with his Brother Colin Victor Brown.
Harold Travellled onto Sydney and was married to Lilian Powell in Granville, NSW in 1914.
Colin Victor seemed to have stayed behind in NZ unitl 1920
He married Ethel Oates (oakes) Larryman about 1920 in Aukland (Although the family rumour is that they were not married).
There is a divorce record for a Colin Victor Brown and Irene in 1919 could be related.
There is a rumour in the family that there were two children (Twins?) Phyllis and Frank although Colin's death certificate has no issue of children.

Is there someone out there who can help me solve this puzzle

Hi Bruce, and welcome to Rootschat,

I can't find any marriage record for a Colin Victor BROWN, so it seems that perhaps your family legend is correct and they never married. Of course, this suggests he didn't marry anyone else either.
