Trying to add my own picture to profile

I am trying to add my own picture to my profile, but do not seem to be able to do so. I have scanned the picture, but when I try to add it nothing happens  Embarrassed Obviously I am doing something wrong, so could someone help me out PLEASE  Smiley Lyn

Should help you.
Make sure when you type any message and use either preview or spell check to do so before adding photo, this seems to delete them.
