The Index is just that - all it does is list the two parties, the parish, the year, and, if it's stated in the parish register, whether or not either party is from another parish and whether they're a widow(er).
The full index entry reads 1809 Joseph Pentelow of Dean Eliz Newman at Kimbolton
So if Joseph was a widower and that was noted in the parish register then it should have been mentioned in the index.
An 1809 marriage would not show fathers, just witnesses, but you need the parish register for that sort of detail. They would be available at the Records Office in Huntingdon, or they have also been filmed and are available on microfilm at your nearest LDS Family History Centre

No, I said the index does NOT give witnesses.
You need the Parish Register for that sort of detail

I am looking for the marriages of the following: James Bright b.abt 1754 or 1764 (fiche was blurry) Needingworth. Spouse unknown (thats what Im trying to find out. Both at Holywell cum Needingworth
I couldn't see any other James anywhere near the likely date
It's preferable to start a new thread with new lookups

Bingo! Its Frances & Elizabeth and the extra bonus info you gave me was my Great Grand mothers middle name is DARLOW !!! Elizabeth "Betsey" Darlow Bright. Wow.... she was named after her grandmother! Thank you so much for the new information. I really really appreciate it. LJ
