I am researching the Cox family that moved from Kent to Derby. They moved just prior to the 1901 census. There were brothers Alfred and George Cox, living at 10 Deadmans Lane, Derby.
Alfred Cox was born in Barming in Kent 1880 George Cox was also borni n Barming c 1872
George and his family are shown on the 1901 and Alfred was their boarder.
I know about Alfred but would love to hear more about George and his family. It would appear that his wife Annie could have been married before as three of their six children carried the surname of Dobby

thanks Nicky
I have the 1871 as well as the 1881, what I want to know is what happened to George and his family. or any of the others that didn't move to Derby.
Thank you again I should have made it clear that I wanted post 1901 info really, or pre 1871, Frederick and Elizabeth Cox's daughter Eliza Jane Cox was christened 30/10/1870 at Barming, at the moment that is the earliest info I have
