help!
just registered for my free webspace ( thanks rootschat), uploaded my files, all in the file manager, but now, when i try to get on the site, it comes up with page not found, I realise i haven't changed the html. how do i now do that?

thanks for the reply.
guess i am just not getting it, i have an html.index. file in my file manager.just can't work out if it is right, ( on opening it, it is the main page). maybe it is all beyond me.

You need to put your Home Page in the directory above http://watsontree.rootschat.net/watsonfam/ . When you log into the file manager you'll see a folder named "watsonfam". You need your "index " file in the area you first come to when you open the file manager, alongside that folder.
Good luck - as Trystan says the other pages are in place.

can access the site now,got the main page. but doh! lost the link to the others, will have to keep trying. will get there........... eventually.

the links on the "index" page don't point to html pages in the http://watsontree.rootschat.net/watsonfam/ directory; instead they point to those files in the main directory eg http://watsontree.rootschat.net/pafg01.htm
So you need to re-upload the non-index files to teh main directory (or edit the links on your index page).
