Looking for any info on a JOHN BRUCE b 1791 Sockton on tees he can be found on latterday saints site but i cant find anything else about him.
Any BRUCES born around that time either.Any help appreciated i have been stuck at this point of my tree for over a year now

I found a John Bruce abt 1796 born Stainton Yorkshire on the 1861 census reg district of Stockton Sub district of Sedgefield RG9/3698 Folio  28 ED 15A page 5, listed with son John abt 1828 born Dalton Percy  Durham and 2 servants.
nothing else sorry

On family search i think IGI has a john Bruce married to a Jane Bruce and has born Stockton on tees .He is a mariner.

I have a william  Bruce born stockton on tees bap 1825.His mother is Jane Bruce , the age tallies with the above jane.Also when i got in touch with the archives they had his father as JOHN however i cant find anything else on the above John Bruce born Stockton .
