1851 Census St Nicholas Aberdeen + Kennedy

I would be so grateful if someone could find an Alexander Kennedy (born 1824), Isabella Kennedy (wife) and 2 daughters Annie (b 1849) and Jeannie, (or Jean or Jane born 1851) on the 1851 census. I know hey were living in 1851 in St Nicholas where Jeannie was born, prior to this they were living in Udny. I am keen to establish a birth place for Isabella.

hi susie, took me a wee while to find your family on the 1851 census, your jeanie was not part of the household then when the census was took, but i would bet my bottom dollar she was born in that house later in the year.

1851 census: 158 gallowgate, aberdeen

alexander kenedy...head...age 26...grocer...born old deer, aberdeen
isabella...wife...age 26...born pitsligo, aberdeen
ann...dau...age 1...born udny, aberdeen

Alexander Kennedy married Isabella Cruickshank in Udny, Aberdeen on Nov. 24, 1849

There are several Isabellas on the IGI who were born not terrribly far from New Pitsligo which you may want to investigate.
