Assistnce required for NZ search

Hi All,
Dermot Francis Colch born1886 Kilkivan Queenaland, enlisted for service in WW1 belived to have married a NZ girl.
I have located a document in the National Archives Australia; that says he was transferred to "New Zealand Force", Service No. 28433, that he was wounded 12 Oct 1917 and from what I can make out repatriated to Wellington.
Family sources say he never returned to Australia - if any kind person can help me add to the little I know or can help point me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.

Hi Arana,

A Dermot Francis COLCH married a Theresa Norah CROWLEY IN 1920.

He died in 1951 and is buried at Karori Cemetery (Area/Block/Row/Plot: 03/E/4/26):

"ILMO Dermot b hus of Tesesa COLCH d 22 Feb 1951. Theresa (Teresa above?) b w of the above d 13 Dec 1959. RIP. Michael Crowley d 11 May 1939 RIP"

There is a WWI personnel file for him at Archives NZ in Wellington
