I have the heads of households indexes for both the 1901 and 1911 censuses for the town of Newport, Co. Tipperary.

Thank you for the offer.  I am looking for John Bourke of Newport.  in 1901 he would have been between 55 and 65 years of age.  His wife was Mary Fitzgerald.  I believe that all of the children had left home by 1901.  He was alive in the late 1890's.  Thanks, Jim

Sorry there was no John Bourke on the list for 1901, there was no Mary Bourke either, although there were a number of other Bourke's.

Thanks for checking.  I believe that all of John and Mary's Children were in NY by 1901.  I feel certain that some of the other Bourkes in the census are my 4th or 5th cousins, but I will not know that for sure until I find John's parents.  I know that I had cousins there until at least 1939.

Hi
Could you oblige and see if any of the Warren families appear in the 1901 or 1911 Census.  There were dozens of Warrens in that area during the 1800s and I am desperately seeking information as I believe my gg grandfather may have been from this area.

Many thanks.   If you ever encounter Warrens in this area, please let me know.
