Anastasia O'Brien bc 1900

Hi All,
I am looking for information. on behalf of a friend, all I have is :-

Anastasia O'Brien born 1900 or 1901  the name Thomastown and that she was educated in a convent. Later she went to England and married. I also have the names Sarah/Norah.
Any help grasped eagerly.

 Would the Placename Thomastown refer to a town in  County Kilkenny by that name ?

I am not really sure as my friend does not have a lot of information but it is a possiblity.
Are there many  Thomastown places in Ireland ?
