As a matter of interest, Kilwinning is not one of the Three Towns, it is now part of Irvine New Town. The three towns are Ardrossan, Saltcoats, and Stevenston; the reason they are called the three towns is because they have merged one into another and it takes a local to know where the boundaries are.
