Hello, I have recently found a James Coon that married into my family in 1853, its an unusual surname so i wondered if anyone as come across the name before, the marriage was in the Clun area of Salop.

There is a marriage of a James Coon, September qtr 1844,Clun,Shropshire. There are 26 Coon's listed in Ancestry BMD, years 1837 - 1983.
