The Moving here website holds over 150,000 pages illustrating the migration histories of Caribbean, Irish Jewish and South Asian communities to England over the last two centuries.  It also records the personal recollections of people moving to England.

The site provides a wealth of information for family historians, including a general introduction to the subject. Just as important, you can download images of documents, view film clips and listen to people's memories of arriving in England Smiley[/font]

This site has been re-vamped since I last visited it, and has loads more stuff on it than I remember.

Well worth a serious browse !!

It is an on-going project, so it's worth going back now and then for another look.
