The second letter isn't a "r" as it doesn't match the "r' in the word "born".
I agree with the - - lam, possibly with the first being an "a" which really only leaves Aclam. I can't find anything closer than that.

Googling around I came across a reference to Sir Ingram Boynton of Aclam. Also mentioned is Barmston in Yorkshire, which appears to be on the coast of East Riding on a modern map.

The second letter of the word is almost identical to the "c" in some seventeenth century wills I'm currently struggling to transcribe! So I would vote for Aclam. (Goodness knows why they wrote "c" like that - doesn't look anything like it, to me! )
