i  am looking for anyone who has these  people on ther e tree list as ive found them on mine too
thomas crosby b 1865 thormanby1901 census dewsbury.
his children were    annie crosby   b 1890 /john h crosby b1892 /lily b crosby b1887/maria crosby b1889/mary j crosby b1894 all born at dewsbury

also a    robert crosby b1869 who's children were a john .c.crosby b1893  halifax eston
evelyn m crosby b ?grangetown ,eston
any info would be appreciate

Hello Sugarcrafter1,
My Grandmother was Sarah Jane Crosby b. Middlesbrough c1919.
I have her marriage  to George William Johnson in 1937 wich states her father was John Crosby . Chemical worker.
I know this sounds like a long shot but do you think this is the same family ?
Last year when i tried to trace the Crosby family i got stuck when i seen the location Halifax, i never knew that there was a Halifax in Eston.
Ive heard of California in Eston but this one is new to me.
I have an Photo of the Ctrosby family about 1910, in wich are 3 generations of the Crosby family but no names to go with it .

hello peely, i have no recolection of any middlesborough crosby's in my tree but that does not mean there  are not any ,
mine  came  from thormanby near easingwold north yorkshire which is not a million miles  from  midlesborough
my grandfather john thomas crosby b 1883 thormanby  he did have several aunts /uncles  ie: elizabeth crosby b1860 / hannah marie crosby b 1862/thomas crsoby b1865/robert crosby b1869
hannah marie was my  grt grandmother
