Hi, Could Anyone please tell me if Nellie Absolon who married John Wingfield Burton is the daughter of George Richard Absolon and Elizabeth Martin. They are Buried in MacKinlay cemetery North QLD.  Any help appreciated.

Nellie's birth was under ABSALOM, 6 July 1879, parents George Richard Absalom and Elizabeth Jane Martin 1879/004715

I just noticed that there are two birth dates the same for the children and I forgot to get the ref for one of them. Do you want me to check again, didn't know if you were just interested in Nellie.  I did see marriages for a couple of the children as well.

Where is MacKinlay cemetery?

Hi Cazay, I have that other Cert number, my mother tells me MacKinlay is SW of Cloncurry in about Central Qld, just above centre.

Wouldn't mind the marriages of the Children though, I beleive one of them is Palmer?.

I couldn't find marriages for George Richard and May, do you know if they married?  I did see a death for George Absalon with parent George but no mother was given.

12 April 1905 Lillie Annie married Richard Joseph O"Donnell 000476
15 April 1918 William John married Annie Susanna Stubbings 001657
31 May 1908 Ruby Gertrude married Charles Hardy 000563

You mentioned Palmer but I didn't see any, could this be for one of their children's marriages?

Hi Cazay, I have the marriage of George Richard  to a Elizabeth Jane Martin 22/8/1876 /000496.

I do not have May. Palmer was suppose to be a Sister.

I have George Buried McKinlay Cemetery, I thought his father was a John Absolon.!

Hi Cazay, I didn't know that there was a George (Junior).
That no. 000496 the 22/8/1876 is for the marriage of George Senior and Elizabeth. some of the names are spelt, Absolon which is the right way then Absalon and Absolom.
