Thomas Johnson was born in Eton in 1860 according to the 1881 census when he was living with his parents James and Eliza Johnson in Cowley Peachey near Uxbridge.
In the 1861 census he wasn't with his parents in Clewer. Can anyone find him in the 1861 and 1871 censuses please.

Great thank you.
That confirms his age and that he wasn't being confused with his cousin of the same name and age who was born in Cowley Peachey. I do wish that they used a few more names in those days.

Sorry I am causing confusion.
James and Eliza were in Cowley Peachey without Thomas in 1861 but in Clewer in 1881.
I am wondering if the Thomas living with James' brother Henry in 1861 is James' son rather than Henry's.
