Can't get into RootsChatterBox

Hello Trystan.,
I havent been on the site for a while and today I attempted to get on Chat, it went to the site but and reported done but all I get is a blank white page with a small box in the upper left corner with a small red x.
Do you know what could the problem be.

tallted ... if you have an ad blocker running this will give this same effect you may need to either turn it off or give the chat program a pass through the blocker

Welcome back

Another possibility, is that the RootsChat cookie has changed.

Logout of RootsChat, delete all cookies, close your browser, and then try from the beginning.

Make sure you know all your passwords, if you have any sites you don't normally log out off.

The good bit is that you are getting as far as the white screen (yes!) Wink

It is unfortunatley not a cookie problem that is preventing access to the RootsChatterBox, it is likely that you need to upgrade "Macromedia Flash" ( from www.macromedia.com ) or you may have a slow (or busy!) computer or slow internet connection. Also when the room is particularly busy, it can be a struggle for faster computers to get in sometimes too.

If you close down programs and any open that you are not using, then it may just help.

I have been banned, and can't figure out the reason why, i don't recall doing anything wrong, but i only happened to turn my back for a few minutes to find something, to then come back and find i have been permanently kicked out...

As new are new to Rootschat perhaps you should contact one of the moderators who could explain the reasons to you if you feel you have done nothing wrong.

It could just have been really busy as it does get manic in there sometimes !!!!

No i kind of missed the message, and yes i have been trying, but i keep getting a message saying i was banned, i'm not sure exactly who kicked me out, if it was member, they can't do that, i mean it's not their place to do so or to reprimand, they do not own rootschat, so they have no say in who stays or goes.
