SIR WILLIAM MARRIOTT 1901

I am trying to locate my G Gmother Emily Jane Reeve b Essex 1870.1891 working for Sir William Marriott in Knightsbridge London. She does not appear on the 1901 census for England.Sir William emigrated to to South Africa and had a legal business in Johannesburg.He is not on the 1901 census.If she went with the family would there be a record of her passage?He died 1903 in Aachen Germany.Family story says she worked in S A and Germany. The earliest I can find her in Australia is 1909 and can track her until she died in 1955.Is there any hope of filling some missing years?

marriage listed in 1898 Edmonton, Essex
Emily Jane reeve married either Charles Herbert Bennett or Charles William smith

Hi Supersan, according to Emilys will she never married. She had a son b 1898 White roding Essex. He was b Reeve and her name was Emily Jane Reeve. I wish she had married, it would have saved a lot of time looking for her.Thanks for replying. Reeve

Hi Reeve,
Passenger records are very very few and far between especially the time frame you are looking at- this is almost like looking for a needle in a haystack at this point. She is not mentioned in the archives at all which is the first place to look - perhaps the law society might be able to help? I have searched all my known South african sources with no result.
