I can't find any EALHAM'S listed in the NZ White Pages but there must be descendants of William and Alfred, who came to NZ in the late 1800's from Lincolnshire, out there. Some married names are: MARSHALL, HARTLEY, WAKELIN, SPARKS, McKINNA, BERKELEY. All and any info gratefully received. Julie in Aus

It's a bit of both actually! Both men settled in the Christchurch area.
The descendants I am looking for are from their daughters' marriages. Enid Maude Ealham married John Berkeley Wakelin Margaret Florence Ealham married Walter Kimber Sparks Eunice Fraser Ealham married Harold Gladstone McKinna Margaret Ogilvie Ealham married Stewart Neil Marshall Nola Janet Ealham married Jack Richard Hartley
The Ealams in the phone books are relatives, all accounted for.
You could get the certs or find where they are buried in ChCh and get the date of death from gravestones or funeral homes. Then get a film copy of the local paper, Christchurch Press ? at the library for those dates and see all the notices in the paper.
