Can anyone find Japeth Fletcher (thats what it looks like on the 1841c) on the 1851c. He was at Halls, Bassenthwaite in 1841 aged 30ish, I think its possible he has a wife called Mary.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks, Josie

Hello Josie,
I haven't got the 1851 census, but it looks like they would have still been at the same address as they are still at Halls, Cockermouth in the 1861 census.
1861 census - RG9/3933 page 136?
Halls, Cockermouth
Mary Fletcher, head, 56 yrs. Farm Labourer, born Bassenthwaite
Japhet Fletcher, BROTHER, 53 yrs. Shoemaker, born Bassenthwaite
Jane Fletcher, Sister, 39 yrs. Servant, born Bassenthwaite
Martha Flethcer, sister, 37 yrs, born Bassenthwaite
Isaac Fletcher, Nephew, 12 yrs. scholar, born Bassenthwaite
Margaret Fletcher, Niece, 5 yrs. scholar, born Cockermouth
Hope this helps
CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THE 1851 census?
regards
georgie
