Please could someone lookup for me a John Down born 1796 in Winkleigh Devon

I've checked the 1841 census at British Origins. There are 15 John Downs in Devon between the ages of 40 & 50 in Devon (thats going on your YOB of 1796) - none of them in Winkleigh.


Below are the parishes mentioned.
Maybe one of them is close to Winkleigh?

  BRATTON CLOVELLY  DEVON     
  LAMERTON  DEVON

  HIGH BICKINGTON  DEVON     
  PLYMOUTH  ST ANDREW  DEVON     
  LUFFINCOTT  DEVON     
 
When I didnt use the age cutoff, there were 128 John Downs of all ages in Devon. Smiley

Do you have any other possible places/parishes he might have been?
