Swanage Grand Theatre and Bournemouth Pavilion
« on: Tuesday 07 February 06 10:05 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
hoping someone could help find information on the stage career of Harry Hayward who appeared at the two theatres between 1935 - 1939. He was lead man in all the George Coffin plays performed there and various pantomimes. Harry specialised in tap dancing, whistling and harmonica playing and was known as the Larry Adler of the UK.
There is a  photo of Harry in costume as 'Buttons' in 1935. The photo was taken at Powells studio on the seafront at Swanage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated by Harry and his family.
