« on: Tuesday 07 February 06 10:17 UTC (UK) »

I have posted several messages and none of them show that blue 'new' box in the query box - can somebody tell me what I am not doing right please?

Many thanks,
Maggie

Hi Maggie

The "blue flag" is to show a new posting that you haven't read - your postings won't show this unless you have any new replies because effectively you read them when you post them.  Does this make sense?

Dear Maggie,

Just to add to Casalguidi's response, there is only one single solitary dumb question on this or any other mailing list - it is the one you DON'T ask!

Do please ask away!

All questions which newbies or oldies ask are worthwhile and are there to be answered  Cheesy

Keep your questions coming!  And also your genealogical puzzles.

Thanks everybody for taking the time to sort me out - the answer is obvious when you think about it isn't it?  I'm a member for less than a week so that's my excuse!!
