"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die"

Hi all, If anyone has the 1841 census for Chesterfield area, I'd really appreciate a lookup for George Walker and his wife Catherine, who would have been 26 in 1841. Possible address is the Bobbin Mill, as they were there in 1851, and George was a bobbin turner. There may be a son Charles, age 1. I would also like to find George Walker in 1861 if possible, as he is not shown within the household (Lordsmill Lane), yet his wife Catherine is down as married. Many thanks! gazza189

Hi Sunflower, That's great, thank you! I'd been wondering where George could have got to! Maybe his change of location was due to the cotton famine (which Jane Horrocks was investigating as part of 'Who do you think you are' on TV last night). She said that it was in the early 1860s, which would tie up with George's absence from home in 1861, wouldn't it? Many thanks again. gazza189
