Hi trying to find a Hannah dresser on the 1841 census,Hannah was born 1821 silton leake thirsk by 1861 Hannah was with a William walker and children in oldham in 1851 both William walker and Hannah were in mottram Cheshire,but I have been unable to find a marriage between William walker and Hannah dresser so in 1841 I do not know if Hannah was Hannah dresser or Hannah walker can anyone help please or got any good idea's how to find her.cheers folks gratefull of any help or idea's best wishes Jackie o'gorman

     Can you please post the full details of the 1851 census.
     Did they have any children if yes where and when were they born ?

    There is no general name index for the 1841 census, so without knowing in which district she was in a search would be a non starter.

Is it me  Huh  I can't find them on the 1851 or the 1861.

I can't find a marriage for them either.  I did find a marriage for and Samuel Dresser and Hannah Baddeley 15/6/1829 St. James Gawsworth.  I don't know if they are related to your Hannah or not.

As Peter asked, can we have more details please.

The U.K. BMD has a marriage for Hannah Dresser December quarter of 1846 Easingwold  24 401...
But there is only one husband listed...when I looked at the ancestry BMD under William Walker, I can't find one under the same listing...so she may have been married then, but to whom?  Cheesy J.J. 


P.S. Just a thought...  Do the u.k. census list one as an in-law? As if she also may have been looking after her sister's children?
