Came across this amazing site recently. It makes for fascinating reading and useful research if, like me, you had ancestors in the mining industry in Scotland. So many different aspects of info available that it is best to have a nosey at all the various links and try out some searches for yourselves.

Thanks for this link. I found the accident reports for two of my family members. Tragic !   Cry  They give more details about stories my father told me as a wee girl. It gives a lot of information about life as a mining family too!
