I seem to have accumulated a large amount of Info on the surname Paterson during my research on Amos family.
Margaret Anos(sic) d/o Geo.Mar. was b. Eskdalemuir,1788.
She married Peter Amos,11.2.1810,Kirktown Rox.They raised 10 children in and around Cavers,Rox.
Daug. Margaret.b.circa 1821,married a john Scott.
Agnes m. Geo.Turnbull.Alison m.Wm. Paterson.
Geo.Amos ,went to Co. Durham.
Will gladly share Information.
