Enjoyed going through all the photographs, is it my imagination or is the reporter interviewing Arranroots Curly Watts from Coronation Street?

Hello!
I met the lady being interviewed in the photo - Arranroots, perhaps?? She told me about this great website. I know you probably don't remember me I was there was my mum about 12 ish.... you must've seen hundreds of people that day.
Anyway, this is a very good website. I didn't realise you knew Graceland as well, he DOES get about a bit doesn't he??!

Welcome on board BagpussBee
Forgive me if I say it was all a bit of a blur. Were you the one with blue eyes? LOL!!
I do remember some of the names people were researching and there were some very moving stories, including the gentleman in his 80s who was starting his family history after the death of his son.
Graceland was amazing and even surprised himself that he could talk so much!! As for "getting about" - I couldn't possibly comment!!
I see the membership has increased substantially since Friday..

Membership up 150+? Wonder how many from Gloucestershire?
I talked to a gentleman who has a photo of a ??xxxgreat aunt wearing "Nelson's" cloak, the story has come down through his family. The brother of the aunt worked for the Admiralty in the early 1800's. It was suggested he got in touch with the Maritime Museum.
Apparently the photo needs a bit of a clean-up so hopefully he will post on here.
