I am really annoyed I missed this.  I had to wait in for the Gas man and he didn't turn up until Sunday afternoon!

Are there likely to be anymore of this sort of thing. I now this was organised by the BBC but wondered whether any of the local collages were considering offering a day like Saturday. (Gloscat Do IT is part of the BBC centre in Gloucester)

Sue - it was so popular that it is almost bound to be repeated next year.

There is a chance of something in April, but watch this space...

I know I live in a bucket  Huh (well a house actually...and it's quite a nice one...not always the tidiest, but with two children, two cats and a dog....), but I haven't seen anything for Wales  Huh...or have I missed all the  fun...again.  (Don't ever expect me to know the goss...I'm always about 100 years behind...hey THAT'S why I like family history  Grin).

I have just received an e-mail from Clare, who organised the Family History Day in Gloucester.

She thanks everyone for their hard work and describes the event as enormously sucessful.  The 200+ feedback forms praised the friendliness and helpfulness of the "helpers".  All in all, they were very pleased with the way things went & would like us to help out next time!

Clare has had a few days off to recover, hence the "late" note of thanks - I am sure she can be forgiven!!
