Hello

I am looking for early records on the Clapp family from Deptford, Kent. I was told the parish records for that area are held at the London Archives. One of the parish's  is
Saint Dustan, Stepney London. I am looking for the birth record of Elias Clapp 1625, would the parents be listed in the parish registers?
This is what I have peiced together so far
His 1rst wife was Susan Gilson 1630 m 1848 Deptford & maybe 2nd Elizabeth Healing m 1674 St Olave Hart St London. In his will Elias had a wife Elizabeth & brother Thomas. I dont know if the family came from London to Deptford or vice versa.
