Hi,
Does anyone know why there are no databases at all regarding Westmorland or Cumberland on Familysearch? It's very frustrating.

Just curious - won't the local records offices play ball or what?

There are lots!!!!!!

Have you tried searching for the batch numbers using this site?
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers.htm

Cumberland and Westmorland both feature quite heavily.

You know what - I've just had what I think is politely referred to as ' a senior moment'!

I meant FamilyHistoryOnline. Why aren't any Westmoreland and Cumberland ( now Cumbria) databases included on their site?

I've had lots of info from familysearch and the Hugh Wallis site.

How embarrassing!    Embarrassed
