Does anyone know if 15 Exeter Road Willesden was on the 1881 census, it seems it was missed from the 1891 even though I have a cert dated 1889 with this address on it
Many thanks in advance

1881 census RG11/1361 Superintendent Registrar`s District - Hendon Regitrar`s subdistrict - Willesden
I have looked through the 1881 Description of the Ennumeration District for Willesden as written by the Ennumerator and I cannot see Exeter Road. The first page says " the whole of St. Mary`s Ecclesiastical District " followed by pages of detailed descriptions of roads and buildings.
There was more than one Ennumerater for this area, although it was revisited by yet another person, but this could still explain any possible errors/omissions.
Incidently, Exeter road was written in the description for the 1891 even though I could not find the house number you were after. This would suggest that either this road was not built in 1881 and only partially built in 1891, or it could be in a neighbouring district.
Sorry I can`t give you a more positive answer

You have been more than helpful, I do appreciate what you have done, the LMA tells me it was missed off, typical to be mine I was after, I have them on all the other census but with the surname of White they have been difficult to trace since, but it keeps me on my toes.
A huge thank you
regards Louis Maud
