BASING HOUSE, WHITTLESEY...

I have an ancestor that died in 1926, and his Death Certificate states his place of death as Basing House, Whittlesey.

I have 'googled' this address, but nothing shows. 

Does anyone know where this building stood?  Or maybe if it was a boarding house of some kind?  I have asked the Curate at Whittlesey Museum but they have no idea of it's location although she would try to find out for me.
