Trying to find out more info on the John Cornes who married Elizabeth Mansfield 25 June 1854, St Johns Church, Burslem. In 1861 census their residence is 29 Reid St, Burslem, Staffs, occupation Potter.
This info was entered by G Mee to LDS. Gives Johns birthplace as Roscommon Ireland 1834.
Are there any researchers that are following this Mansfield/Cornes family?

Hi
I have these two in my tree! Elizabeth Mansfield is the sister of my 3x Great Grandmother, Sarah.
The only thing I know about the Cornes side is that John's father was also called John Cornes. This I had from checking the parish records for the marriage, although I can't place my hands on my notes at the moment so can't tell you who the witnesses were etc.

Wow, that was good work.
Our problem was we have some references for John Edwin Cornes and a Margaret Graham getting married 1833 in Roscommon and were trying to eliminate this as a submitter error. But also wondered if this Cornes could have been related to our line as their does seem the possibility of an Irish connection.
Thanks for reply.
