Seasons Greetings kathie,

I may be able to assist. The Psychiatric Services in County Sligo have a place at Castlegarron. I have a friend in that profession in Galway. She may know someone in Sligo who knows Castlegarron. I've left a message on her answering machine and will let you know if she's able to get some info about the old post office.

Hiya kathie,

I'm sorry my friend did not get in touch.

I'd suggest contacting Sligo Central Library. They may have a mobile library service covering the area near the old Post Office at Castlegarron and know of a library member who could provide you with some more information.

Welcome to Rootschat, shamelia, but Kathie hasn't been online since 2007.
