I have a little list that surely can't be missed....
« on: Tuesday 14 February 06 23:25 GMT (UK) »

These are some of the families we are researching in Aberdeenshire:

      ANDERSON in Alford
      BAXTER in Alford
      INNES in Huntly and Glass
LAING in Auchindoir, Clatt, Leslie, Kildrummy, Rayne
      McROBBIE in Old Machar
      MENZIES in Old Machar
      ROBB in Premnay
Anyone else researching one or more of these?

Thank you, Bart, I will have a look.  Most of our INNES people seem to  come from Rhynie and Essie, Clatt, Auchindoir, Leslie areas....but you never know!

Hello again Barb,
we will have to stop meeting this way !! since last post i now have a marriage in my family to a Robb but do not know where she cames, only that she married Alexander David Innes in 31-08-1904 in what looks like Broad Street Aberdeen. Her name was Charlotte Ann Robb.parents Lewis Robb and Elizabeth Brown
Any connection?

Sorry, Bart....I don't have that ROBB or the A. D. INNES you spoke of in my database.  However, I will file this away in the "possibles" folder, just in case.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Hi Barb3

With apologies to Gilbert & Sullivan, I couldn't resist this little reply

"And tut tut tut, and what's-his-name, and also you-know-who--
The task of filling up the blanks I'd rather leave to you.
But it really doesn't matter who you put upon the list,
For they'd all of them be missed, yes they’d all of them be missed......"

Hi - i just noticed that you were researching a lot of small villages around where I live - I also teach in some of the village schools you mentioned so am there regularly every week. If you need any help (I'm assuming you dont live locally!) I'd be happy to help...
