burnhope Sikes

Hi, My ancestor Robert Usher was born 1855 in Burnhope Staffs.  He is said on
the census form that he was born The sykes?. What or where was the sikes or
sykes in Burnhope.  Apreciate any help.

The only Robert Usher I could find in the 1861 Census,born in c 1855,was one born in Burnhope Durham.Have you misread the Staffordshire bit?
