Thankyou very much.  What a brilliant link.  I think I own most of the Blackers.  I will have to see which of mine give Clutton as their birth place.  Have you found a rootsweb site Somerset coalfield connections.  It has the census transcriptions for Midsummer Norton and links them with parish records. Smiley

This has deaths at Clutton workhouse.  Those from about 1910 give cause of death.
