Hi,
I am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of William S Rossiter born circa 1817 in East Orchard.
He married Elizabeth ( maiden name unknown) also born circa 1817 from Fontmell Magna, Dorset.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Hi Alli,
Thanks so much for that. Are there any details for William's parents please, apart from their names that is? I've been looking for this family for some time as they are from the East Orchard / Child Okeford area. I recognise some of the siblings but hope finally to be able to assemble them together as a family on the family tree.

Hi Alli,
Thanks for that. I have both the brothers in my database and had a partially constructed list of the children which your list of baptisms extends. Looks like the sons John and William had married and left home by 1841. Looks like John the father and Elizabeth must have married about 1813/14. I have Elizabeth recorded as being born about 1792. John must have died before 1841.

john rossiter married ann frampton 13th oct 1838 at east orchard.grooms father john rossiter .brides father jospeh frampton.both aged 24yrs at marriage.

Hi Alli,
Don't have enough information to confirm the location but it does look like son John's family. He married Ann Frampton in 1838 and they did have a daughter Elizabeth born about 1838.
George is new to me. Is it possible he was a child from an earlier marriage? Or possibly a child of illegitimate parents?
Ann Frampton was the daughter of Joseph Frampton, but I don't have a lot of information about her.Possible birth about 1814. I think she died between 1841 and 1851.
