I have a Thomas Henry Allison born 1906 born in Yorkshire.His father was Charles Allison.I have been unable to locate anything about Charles Allison.I was told he came from Stainton in Yorkshire.
Is anyone else reseraching Allisons.

I need a bit more information to work with, quite a few Charles Allisons in Yorkshire, can you give an age or which Stainton in Yorkshire you mean. I am not researching Allisons but would be willing to get you some census info if possible.

Stainton in Middlesborough.I dont know his age sorry .He had 3 children Thomas  b1906 two other that i dont know dates for.

The only Allisons I could find b. Stainton Cleveland was William H age 19  on the 1901 census he was living with his brother Joseph G age 27 a butcher born Middlesbrough they were at Boroughbridge. William H,s father was Ralph Allison born in Easington Durham.
Williams sister Dorothy G age 15 in 1901 was also born in Stainton.
Otherwise lots of Charles Allisons in Yorkshire from other various places.

Hi,
Charles Allison married a ALICE HOOD in 1903, Charles father was a THOMAS ALLISON who was a farmer .I found charles on 1901 census in Barlby Yorkshire.
Im positive this is him as i obtained the marriage certificate above  and it had charles date of birth as 1879.

What im looking for now is the death of ALICE HOOD after 1906 and did charles remarry???

This is the same Charles you had, 1901 Barlby
If it is correct they can be traced back to Bubwith (1871) and shown with more children in 1901 still at Rythergate.

I could not turn anything up after 1901, have a look at the website below they cover the area you are looking at, I think you need the Parish Records
