Hi Jan, Am currently researching my daughter-in-laws maternal family side and would appreciate details of both their dob's and parents, if possible of ,- Thomas HINDLEY c. 1805 and Eleanor DUNNING whom he married 29 Sep 1890 in Wellington, both surnames appear to be long standing families of Wellington. Would be very grateful for any details whatsoever. Many thanks in advance for your generous offer. George.

Hi Jan What a kind thought to help us with our research. If you do get a chance I would appreciate a look up for William Owen b. c1782/3 in Loppington His birth in the parish records, parent's names, anything that would be useful! He later went on to marry Frances (?) Green. Thank you very much. Best wishes Erika Not good news for you I'm afraid The Loppington fiche was completely illegible. It was very very faint and I couldn't make out anything.
Sorry I couldn't help.
Jan

as Loppington is only 3 or 4 miles from Wem it might be worth looking into.

Hi Jan, Thanks very much for looking for me anyway, have got an idea of where Richard died so might have to start looking for a will or grave or both to try and get further back with him.
Thanks again
Anna

Hi Jan,
Thank you so much for looking up my Evan and Rebecca Pryce's marriage in Alberbury. I have a small query, though. Was Rebecca's name DAVIES or DAVIS? Do you remember? Since one of the witnesses was john Davis, I wondered if he was a relative or not. Too bad they don't give any info on the parents, isn't it?
Could I possibly ask for another look-up the next time you go? Rebecca Davis / Davies was born in Criggion (near Alberbury) about 1805 (she died in Nov 1887 at age 82). I thought she might have been christened in Alberbury, but I've checked the IGI and there's nothing on her birth there. So if there are any parish records for a church in Criggion, would you be able to check for me when you have the time?
I really appreciate your help - thanks again!

Hi Arkay
Rebecca was definitely DAVIES, and the witness John was DAVIS.
Remember that neither of them could read or write so Rebecca wouldn't have been able to check the spelling!! It's only what the Vicar has written.
I have added your second query to my list for my next visit.
Jan
