Brodie 1851 lookup
« on: Wednesday 22 February 06 02:18 UTC (UK) »

My great-great-grandparents married  20 April 1844 at Errol in Perth
Their names were John Brodie born at Dowally in 1822 and Jean or Jane Stewart born at Kirkmichael in 1826 on one of the other census's they had a James born 1848 Perth and a William born 1852 at Blairgowrie now they did shift around a lot a child at Alyth another at Ruvthen, Kilspindie, Kingoodie and Longforgan they also spent a lot of time in Dundee so I think they might be quite hard to pinpoint. I know they had more sons than I can find so wondered if between 1844 or even slightly before and 1848 more sons were born to this couple.
I don't know how hard it is to lookup this census but someone might like a bit of detective work and try it.

Cheers Heather
