Hi,
please could someone look up the HARVEY family in Worcestershire in 1841?
I believe they should be living in Clent, or possibly Cleeve.
Joseph HARVEY born about 1806, Worc
Sarah OR Elizabeth HARVEY (wife)
Lucy HARVEY born about 1828, Worc
Samuel HARVEY, born about 1830, Worc
Mary HARVEY, born about 1834, Worc
John HARVEY, born about 1836, Worc
Joseph HARVEY, born about 1838, Worc
Sarah HARVEY, born about 1840, Worc

How weird, Holy Cross is between Belbroughton and Stourbridge, and both those were in Worcestershire.
Does anyone know the explanation ?

Hi,
Clent originally Worcestershire until 1016; then became detached part of Staffordshire surrounded by Worcestershire. Back to Worcestershire 1844!
Ecclesiastically Clent parish has always been part of the Worcestershire Diocese.
No wonder it gets confusing with the census counties
