I am looking for any connected to the Holmes family in Suffolk

William Holmes born c1871 in Bawdsey
Rhoda Holmes born C1828 in Bawdsey died 1859

and their children

James 1844
Samuel 1846
George 1850
William 1853
Rhoda 03 Nov 1853

All the children are born in Bawdsey

I have 1851, 1861 and 1871 census records for the family

Rhoda then leaves the family and marries into the Harris Family in Kent. The others vanish into the ether.

Sorry but could not find a baptism for William

Sorry Anna I can't find Rhoda and family in 1841 - no Girlings (various spellings) in Bawdsey. No Rhoda Girling anywhere in Suffolk.

Despite the difference in surname I think this must be your Rhoda and family- it definitely starts Gallan but I'm not sure quite how it finishes ?ce ?o

Age is crossed through so difficult to read does look like 48 but could be 42. Holmes looks like Holmer.

William senior is still in Bawdsey in 1881 but has lost his E in Holmes -  can't see him in 1891 or 1901.
