Margaret Davies was a pupil teacher for about 5 years  in Churchstoke School leaving in January 1892, she would have been around 23 years old at the time. Did she fail her teachers exams? What other reason was there for leaving? What happend to her afterwards? She was a G, Aunt of mine ,can anyone please help? Reply would be appreciated.

Margaret Davies was  born October 2nd 1869 at Top Shop [some times called Upper Shop. ] Churchstoke. Her parents were Edward G. Davies and Martha Ann Davies. I look forward to your reply. Many thanks.

was she any relation to Rose Davies?

Rose was a pupil teacherin the 1900's who failed her teacher exams.

in 1997 the ,then,headmaster was planning on writing a book of the school,I do not know if this ever materialised but it might be worth contacting the school.
