Could Fabenhill possibly be Thornhill?
The 1881 Census lists her as born in Thornhill, Dumfries ... although the 1901 says Thomhill N B Sterlingshire.
Dumfries confuses me a bit because the family appeared to always remain in PER, STI, FIF and RFW.
thanks again,
Libby
