I am looking for Eleanor Skeeles Gifford, she was born about 1837 St Ives, Huntingdonshire.

As your information was fairly minimalist, I started with the 1851 which is easier to search, and this looks the most likely family mainly because they were the only Giffords in St Ives

William Gifford head marr 37 Saddler employing 1 man and 1 apprentice born St Neots Hunts
Elizabeth Gifford wife 41 b Bluntisham Hunts
Ellen S Gifford dau 15 scholar b Somersham Hunts
Elizabeth Gifford dau 13 scholar b St Ives
William Gifford son 11 scholar b St Ives
Emma Gifford dau 9 scholar b St Ives
Charles F Gifford son 4 scholar b St Ives
Louisa H Gifford dau 2 scholar b St Ives
Georgiana Gifford dau 4 mths b St Ives

In 1841 the same family

Frances (female) Townshend 44 Ind Not born in county

Thomas Skeeles seems to be the clincher!
