Hi
Following my husband's relatives. His father was James. lived tarB, an uncle or great uncle in Sorn. All, probably miners. Any clues? this is a new line of research for me.Thanks.

My mothers side of the family were  originally from Tarbolton.
Your best bet is www.Scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
It's a great site,  the minimum is £6 for 30 credits.
Just make sure you read all the tips and FAQS.
You can download what you find and print off B/M/D certificates from the comfort of your home.
